It's a Small family owned campground very friendly, and a great river for beginners in kayaks.
Great place to camp and float. The older guy that acts like he is in charge is an inappropriate ass. He needs to learn how to communicate with the human race. A few anger management classes would help. Other than him it's a great place.
Popular but never too crowded like a secret only folks who love quiet laid back fairly primitive camping/kayaking/canoeing would care to know. Bathrooms, showers, ice and some incidentals available. Lovely place, I dream of it when I'm not here.
Love this place, could make the trip every off day. Loads of fun, peace and serenity plus some thrills on the river..
The water is great, beautiful float. The service not so great. We misunderstood, parked at the wrong end of the float, admittedly our fault, but the staff didn't really seem to care about how we would get back to our car once we were back at their site. We ended up getting another customer to take us back to the start.
